This is just a reminder that you must leave any tickets for family and friends at the box office before 7pm.

The Dance Department will provide one rush ticket to all students with valid RU ID, 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time. The policy provides only one ticket per person per ID, meaning; students may not provide two IDs to procure two tickets. Seating is subject to availability; if the performance is sold out or is showing signs of being sold out imminently, the Box Office reserves the right to revoke the distribution of Student Rush at any time for any reason. The only way to assure a ticket is to buy one in advance.

JCE Jazz Dance Project

Congratulations to Imani Shivers and Barbara Angeline! Imani’s performance in Barbara’s piece “Doin’ My Jazz” received a terrific review from Jazz Choreography.

“…This easy, “grooving” feeling also emanated from Barbara Angeline’s “Doin’ My Jazz,” as solo dancer Imani Shivers commanded the stage through strong musicality and deceptively understated movements. There was no need for flashy tricks here – a simple, well-timed extension of the arm proved just as gripping“. Jazz Choreography Enterprise, INC.
