Congratulations to all the BFA Senior choreographers and the dancers who performed this weekend! Two wonderful concerts of diverse work – you should be very proud of your work. Many thanks to John Evans for his lighting expertise and oversight of the production. Thanks also to Choreo 4 mentors Laura Peterson and Doug Elkins.

Don’t forget that we have a guest lecture and book signing by award-winning choreographer Liz Lerman on Wednesday, April 15 from 12:45pm-3:30pm in Studio 110. You don’t want to miss the information this amazing artist has to share!

Liz Lerman has been the recipient of numerous honors, including a 2002 MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellowship, a 2011 United States Artists Ford Fellowship in Dance, and the 2014 Dance/USA Honor Award. Her work has been commissioned by Harvard Law School, the Lincoln Center, American Dance Festival, and the Kennedy Center among many others. Liz is the author of three books: Hiking the Horizontal: A Field Guide for Choreographers(2011), Critical Response Process (2003) and Teaching Dance to Senior Adults (1984).
